If you do not have a computer at home and you have school aged children attending school, then you could be eligible for Computers in Homes. Computers in Homes aims to provide access to technology so all New Zealand children have access to technology. We do this by training the parents for 20 hours on the basics of using a computer and safety on the internet. We then provide a computer, subsidised internet and free technical support for the first 12 months that computer is in the home. See our website for criteria.
About Computers in Homes Whanganui
We have been operating in Whanganui for many years and have bought technology into over 770 homes here. We offer safe, supportive and informative training to parents, grandparents and foster parents caring for their children. We encourage parents to get interested in technology as the digital age is here and our children are learning fast.
